K & 12th Thanksgiving

The Kindergarten class helped prepare and cook a Thanksgiving meal on Nov. 25. As Pilgrims, they welcomed their "Indian Buddies" -- the seniors who started at SGS in Kindergarten -- to a delightful feast!


K Art Class

The Kindergarten students enjoy watercolors, drawing and finger painting in their art class.


Human Bodies

The 4th graders helped the 1st graders put bones and labels on their "human body" science projects in the hallways of the Lower School.


2020 Seconds of Reading

The entire Lower School walked up to the Davenport House on Jan. 10th to spend 2020 seconds (about 34 minutes) reading with their friends all over the house!


Holiday Concert

The Lower School students presented songs, dances, instruments, and family history floats on Dec. 19 in Founder Theater for their Holiday Concert.


5th Immigrants

The 5th graders became immigrants passing through Ellis Island in this classroom simulation.


Nez Perce Trip

The annual overnight trip for 6th graders took them to the Nez Perce Reservation in Central Idaho to compete their studies on rivers and dams, fish hatcheries, and religious traditions from May 28-29, 2019.


Nordic Ski Day

The 7th and 8th graders spent a day nordic skiing on Mt. Spokane and enjoying plenty of exercise in the snow!


Genius Hour

Middle School students and 5th graders gave TED Talk style presentations on their Genius Hour projects to interested listeners on May 31, 2019.


8th Coast Trip

The 8th graders completed their science curriculum with a week-long camping trip to the Olympic Peninsula to study tide pools, forest ecology, and celebrate the end of Middle School.


9th Campout

The 9th graders began their Upper School experience with a two-night campout on Upper Priest Lake. Plenty of canoeing and team-building games with beautiful summer weather!


FRC Robotics

The Upper School Robotics team lead an alliance of teams at the West Valley FIRST competition on March 6th and 7th.


IB SCIENCE

The 11th grade International Baccalaureate Biology class used microscopes in the Bio Lab to draw and identify amoeba and other tiny organisms.


Boys Soccer at State

It was as close as a game could get -- no score through regulation and overtime -- but Saint George's boys soccer team prevailed over Life Christian Academy of Tacoma in the penalty kick shootout to take the State 2B/1B Championship in Sumner on Saturday, Nov. 23.
