Saint George's girls soccer team made it to the First Round of the State Tournament before falling 2-5 to Tonasket on Wednesday, Nov. 10, ending their season.  It was a successful year for the Dragons, having won the District 2B Championship trophy this fall.  Congratulations and good luck in 2022!

The SGS boys soccer team battled Upper Columbia Academy to a scoreless tie through regulation and two overtimes on Nov. 3.  But UCA came out on top 4-2 in penalty kicks and ended the Dragons run one game short of the State Final Four.  See a Photo Gallery of the hard-fought match, as well as photos of the Senior Night Ceremony after the end of the game for the team's five seniors.

The Middle School students enjoyed a new sport -- pumpkin bowling -- on a beautiful fall afternoon on Graduation Lawn.  See a Photo Gallery of the action, as they discovered it's hard to roll a pumpkin in a straight line!

Saint George's girls soccer captured a dramatic victory over Northwest Christian on Oct. 30 to advance in the District tournament.  "Regan Thomas scored the winning goal in the 2nd overtime from about 35 yards out," said Athletic Director Ryan Peplinski.  "She beat the goalie in a race for the ball and sent it into the net."  The game was back and forth throughout with both teams having great chances along the way.  Henri Osborne was fantastic in goal for the Dragons, as was the NWC goal keeper.

The Dragons advance to host Reardan on Nov. 2 at 3:00pm for the District Championship.  This game will determine who they face on Saturday in a loser out/winner to State game.  Go Dragons!
