Congratulations to eight SGS athletes who received All-League honors for their accomplishments in fall sports.  For girls soccer, Cambrie Rickard was one of three NE 2B League MVPs, while Zadie Rigsby and Reagan Ivey earned First Team honors and freshman Margreit Galow was an Honorable Mention.  In boys cross country, Dan Rigsby and Nick Watkins received First Team honors.  Clara Witmer and Audrey Harrill earned First Team honors for girls cross country.  Go Dragons!

SGS Freshman keeper Finn Kelly was named WIAA Athlete of the Week for 2B schools after not allowing a goal in regulation or overtime at the State 2B boys soccer Semifinals and Finals matches at Sumner in November.  His biggest save was in the Championship game's shootout -- see Video of the State Shootout.  Tied at 5 points each with Life Christian, Marshall Roll made his kick on goal and Finn made save for the 6-5 win to give the Dragons their third State title in nine years.  Congratulations, Finn!
