The store will remain open from today, Oct. 15 until Friday Oct. 26. Anyone can purchase basketball gear. The store has both men’s’ and women’s’ styles.

The SGS Boys Soccer JV team won 2-0 against Upper Columbia Academy on Wednesday, Sept. 26.  See a Photo Gallery of their game against UCA.

The Spirit Week all-school pep rally on Friday, Oct. 5 introduced the school's new tagline on t-shirts for all the students and staff: "Inspiring the confidence to serve and lead."  See a Photo Gallery from this fun event that featured each of the varsity athletic teams and a competition involving shaving cream and orange puff balls!

The Middle School cross country race on the SGS campus on Oct. 4 featured several races.  See a Photo Gallery of the 7th and 8th grade boys racing across campus, through the woods, and down the sandhill to the finish line.  Plus See Photos of 6th grader Joaquin running to the front in his race.

SGS international students and friends helped clean the Little Spokane River on a fall afternoon in late September.  See a Photo Gallery of them floating down the river in search of trash to capture and haul out.

Just like Lewis and Clark more than 200 years ago, the 8th graders canoed down the Little Spokane River in late September and mapped the river's winding path.  See a Photo Gallery of them navigating and mapping like seasoned explorers!

Saint George's hosted nearly 350 young runners - a record for a Saint George's meet - on Friday, Sept. 28 for the Lower School cross country meet.  See photo galleries of the 2nd Grade Races, the 3rd-4th Grade Girls Race, the 3rd-4th Grade Boys Race, and the 5th Grade Races across campus, through the woods and down the sandhill to the finish line!

Saint George’s made it to the finals!  We are up against Lakeland Hawks in the final round of Dave Smith’s Spokane High School Mascot Challenge.  We are, however, behind by 138 votes.  It only takes one click to vote for our beloved Dragon Mascot.  Voting ends at noon on Wednesday, Oct. 10.  Please Click on This Link to vote for SGS and show Spokane who has the best mascot (and the most spirit)!  

 

October 1-6 is Spirit Week leading up to the Homecoming soccer games and Homecoming Dance this Saturday, Oct. 6.  Dress up themes for the week include PJ Day (Monday), Tourist (Tue.), Wacky (Wed.), Jersey (Thu.), and Color Day (Fri.) for the Pep Rally first thing that morning in ESAC Gym.  The Dragons host Stillwater Christian at 10am Saturday (girls) and Noon (boys), so come cheer on both 2017 State Finalist soccer teams.  Go Dragons!

After positioning canoes, teams of 8th graders staged a relay race around campus on Sept. 26. They began with orienteering, then a trail run, obstacle course, archery and ended with canoeing on the Little Spokane and a dash to the finish!  See a Photo Gallery of the action.
