Saint George's is partnering with Apex Physical Therapy to provide athletic training services for the coming year.  Our primary athletic trainer will be Matt Rinaldi, who played football and baseball at Mead HS, then studied athletic training at WSU and physical therapy at EWU.  Matt has experience working in the athletic training room and providing game coverage for university and high school athletes from all sports.  Kaylin Green also will provide athletic training services when Matt is not available.  Kaylin is a graduate of George Fox University with a BS in Athletic Training and works at Reardan HS serving their athletic teams.  Read More about APEX and both trainers, and please welcome these two new additions to the Dragon Athletic staff!

The SGS Boy's Varsity Soccer team hosted Riverside Christian on Friday, Sept. 21 and came away with a 2-1 victory.  See a Photo Gallery of the game.

The first varsity home game this fall is Wednesday, Sept. 5 when the boys soccer team hosts Lake City HS at 4pm.  The SGS volleyball teams take on Upper Columbia Academy on Thursday, Sept. 6 in the Schmidt Center Gym; the JV team plays at 5pm followed by the Varsity at 6:30pm.  Cross Country has it's first meet at Shadle Park on Saturday, Sept. 8, while girls soccer's first home game isn't until Thursday, Sept. 13 vs CDA Charter Academy.  Check the Dragon Athletics website for coming events and team schedules, and come cheer on your Dragons this fall!

All parents of students participating in fall sports are invited to the Upper School Parent Meeting at 6pm, Thursday, August 23 in Founders Theater in the Upper School.  Come to learn what's planned for soccer, volleyball and cross country teams this fall!

The Soccer and Ice Cream summer camp spent a week playing soccer outside, making tie-dyed shirts in the lab, playing "statue tag", coloring soccer balls on paper, and enjoying ice cream on a 100 degree day in their tie-dyed shirts!  See a Photo Gallery of the kids at this fun Saint George's summer camp.
