After defeating Brewster on Nov. 17 in a 5-3 shootout to reach the State 2B Championship game, the SGS girls' soccer team fell short of a repeat title in a 1-0 loss to Life Christian on Nov. 18 in Sumner.  Read more about their trip to the Final Four and see full results of the last game of their outstanding season...

The SGS boys soccer team took a 3-1 win over rival Prescott on Nov. 17 to reach the State 2B Championship game.  But the Dragons (14-2-2 overall) could not stop the Crosspoint Warriors (19-1), who knocked in two second-half goals and held SGS to just two on-target shots in the game.  Read more about their trip to the Final Four and see full results of the last game of the most decorated soccer team in SGS history...

The SGS boys’ varsity soccer team won a decisive 4-0 victory in the State quarterfinal round over Life Christian on Nov. 10.  Then the SGS girls’ varsity soccer team won a tight 1-0 victory in the State quarterfinal round over Liberty Bell the same afternoon!  Follow the action at the WIAA Tournament Website and see all the details and photo galleries from both games...

Saint George's boys and girls cross country teams both finished on the podium after 2B/1B State Championship races across Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.  The boys cross country team finished a great season as District and Regional Champions and with a 3rd place trophy from State.  In the girls' race, Jora Gleason finished in 5th place overall to lead our team to a 4th place trophy at State after taking the District Championship.  Read more about our speedy Dragons and see a Photo Gallery of shots from both races...

The SGS boys' cross country team won their Regional Championship with a dominant performance, while the girls' team placed 2nd.  Both teams move on to the State Championships in Pasco this Saturday, Nov. 4.  The boys are ranked 3rd in the final state poll and the girls are ranked 4th overall.  Alex Watkins, Max Richardson, Hunter Johnson, Kai Jacobs, Nick Watkins, Mary Neder, Kahlysta McKethen, and Audrey Harrill all qualified as individuals.  They will be joined by teammates Stephen Ogden, Ethan Hunter, Jora Gleason, Erika Piotrowski, and Nicole Cook.  Go Dragons!
