Kindergarten visitation days for 2022 will be February 10th, March 17th, and April 14th from 8:30am to 11:30am.  If you know of families that may be interested, please have them contact Tami Peplinski (tami.peplinski@sgs.org or 509-464-8744) to sign up to attend.

Sign Up for Chess Club

Chess Club has been free during October, so now is the time to sign up if your student wants to continue in Chess Club for the whole season.  You will find this Chess Club Sign-up Form now open on Power School.  It will close on November 1 at 11:59pm.  A reminder that there is a $200 fee for the entire season of chess, which ends in late April.  Details about the club are on the Chess Flyer that has been posted on Rick’s PSL page.

 

November pre-sign-ups are now open for after-school supervision at the Lower School's After School Enrichment Club (ASE).  Refer to the After School Enrichment Club Information for details before filling out the November pre-sign-up form.  Use this link to access November’s Pre-sign-up Form.  Pre-sign-ups will close at 11:59pm on October 29th.  Please contact either Katie Fitzpatrick at katie.fitzpatrick@sgs.org, Melanie Gee at melanie.gee@sgs.org, or Rick Petrini at rick.petrini@sgs.org with questions.

The traditional Dragon Dance returned to Davenport and Graduation Lawns on Sept. 3rd to welcome the start of another school year at Saint George's.  See photo galleries of the Classes Lined Up before the event and students in the Dragon Dance.  Plus view a three-minute YouTube Video of the start of the Dragon Dance!

New Saint George's families gathered for lunch and to float down the Little Spokane River on Aug. 21.  Here are photo galleries of people enjoying the river on the Morning Float, then Sharing Lunch on Graduation Lawn, introducing themselves and Preparing for the Afternoon Float, and Launching into the River.

 

With this year's 5th graders unable to participate in the traditional Transition Day to Middle School, the 6th grade teachers and Middle School Head Joelle Neiwert have created an informative, and humorous, video for the fifth graders to prepare them for next year.  You can watch it too and see what Life in 6th Grade could be like this fall!

Saint George's has worked with a local agency to create two 30-second ads that are running on local television stations this spring to increase the school's visibility in the Spokane area.  See videos of "We Are Saint George's" -- here's the Lower School Ad and the Middle-Upper School Ad.
