Saint George’s debaters visited Central Valley High School on Nov. 11, tackling some of the toughest high school competition in the country.  Kylie Vera & Grace Generous reached the Sweet Sixteen, Charlie Darnall & Nik Chaudhry made the Elite Eight, while Paul Darnall & Chaitanya Nalluri took 2nd place in a tough Novice Division in their first competition... 

The Pilgrim's Progress chess tournament at Saint George's School drew in 81 players from the region, the largest chess tournament in the area other than state in the past seven years.  Eight SGS players participated - see a Photo Gallery of them and see how they finished...

SGS Math Is Cool teams earned 4th place (9th-10th grades) and 2nd place (11th-12th grades) at Eastern Washington's Math Is Cool High School Championships on October 25.  Our teams competed in the Phi Division, the second highest, and both earned a spot at the State Masters competition coming up at Moses Lake on Nov. 18.  See the individual results too...

Saint George's boys' soccer team captured the State Academic Championship with a team grade point average of 3.335.  The girls' soccer team was just short of earning their own state title with an impressive 3.756 GPA.  Overall, SGS fall athletic teams averaged a 3.557 GPA.  Go Dragons! 

The 7th graders went to the Spokane River on Oct. 24, where they learned about environmental impacts on the watershed.  See a photo gallery of their outdoor adventure...
