The Outdoor Club is headed to Mount Spokane State Park on Saturday, Feb. 3 and Sunday, Feb. 4 to learn to make snow caves.  This trip is open to 8th-12th grade students.  See the Snowcaves Flyer on the website for details; payment and waiver are due by Jan. 31...

On Friday, Dec. 1, three seniors helped the 4th graders use GPS devices to search for “geocaches”, hidden cans with math clues, in the woods above campus.  See a Photo Gallery of them getting their bearings and heading up into the woods to find their targets...

The 7th graders went to the Spokane River on Oct. 24, where they learned about environmental impacts on the watershed.  See a photo gallery of their outdoor adventure...

The last week of September, the seventh graders spent three days at Camp Spalding on nearby Davis Lake.  See a Photo Gallery of the individual and team activities that helped them push the limits of what they could do, both individually and together...

On September 17, Saint George's students and staff joined others from across the area to clean up a section of the Spokane River while rafting down the river.  See a Photo Gallery of their day...

The sixth grade spent Sept. 22 riding along the Centennial Trail in the Spokane Valley, stopping to take water samples from the Spokane River to check for the river's health.  See a Photo Gallery of them...

The Outdoor Club backpacking trip to Harrison Lake in the mountains of North Idaho has been rescheduled to Friday, Sept. 29.  Students will leave SGS at 3:30 pm that day and return at 4:00 pm on Sunday, Oct. 1.  Learn more about this fun activity for 8th through 12th graders...

The first week of school featured class trips for each of the Upper School grades.  The 9th graders headed out for a two-night camping/canoeing trip to Upper Priest Lake.  See a photo gallery of their adventure...

Saint George's Outdoor club spent 10 days in Alaska at the end of June, exploring the slopes of Denali and sea kayaking along Pacific Ocean inlets...
