It's all on the SGS Publications page!

Wow! The 5-Week Parent Drive has ended and we are so excited to announce that not only did 82% of families participate, but four classes had 100% parent participation.  Congratulations to Kindergarten, 1st, 3rd, and 4th for their outstanding participation!  Even though the 5-Week Drive has ended, you can still contribute to the 2018-19 Annual Fund through June 30, 2019.  We appreciate your support!

Generosity of Spirit was in abundance during the 2nd Harvest Food Drive.  SGS contributed 5,070 pounds of food.  Congratulations to the fifth-grade class who remain the heavy-weight champs by collecting 1,016 pounds of food -- more than 50 lbs per student!  They will have the opportunity to tour the 2nd Harvest Food Bank facility.  The real winners are those who will benefit from your generosity and kindness.  Thank you!

The Operation Christmas Child Drive is well underway.  The mission of the international relief organization, Samaritan's Purse, is to provide local partners around the world with shoeboxes filled with small toys, hygiene items, and school supplies as a means of reaching out to children in their own communities with Christmas presents.  The recipients of the shoeboxes are children outside the US that are affected by war, poverty, natural disaster, famine, and disease.  A display table with boxes is set up in the LS front hallway and in front of Founders Theater.  The drive ends this Friday, Nov. 9.  Contact Azira Sande or see the SG Magazine Article to learn more about this way to reach out to children in need.

Saint George's is holding a Fall Blood Drive on Monday, Nov. 19 from 7:30-10:45am from the lobby in front of Founders Theater.  Early times are still available; sign up by contacting Melanie Mildrew at 464-8819.  Learn more about the Donation Process and come give the gift of life!

Have you seen our new "Power the Dragon" Annual Fund Video?  Generations of students, teachers, parents, staff, board members, and more have made Saint George's what it is today!  We are SG!  Give to the Annual Fund during the five-week Parent Drive and help #powerthedragon

This is the last week of our 5-Week Parent Drive that ends Nov. 9.  So far, 70% of families have donated to the Annual Fund, just below last year's 75%.  Congratulations to the 4th grade for reaching 100% participation!  Thanks to everyone who has donated online or in person during last week's conferences.  You can still head to www.sgs.org/give to contribute today!  Together we can Power the Dragon!

Colorful fall leaves are covering the campus.  Here's a Video of Fall Leaves being blown off a walkway last week by Jill Nishimura that was shot out a window (as Beethoven's Concerto for Violin and Orchestra in D major played in the background).  Thanks to Jill and the rest of the SGS Facilities and Grounds Crew for keeping Saint George's campus both beautiful and tidy!

Halloween brings out lots of costumed characters around campus.  See a video of the Lower School Parade across campus and a gallery of Lower School Costumes as they marched through the Upper School.  Plus a gallery of Middle School Costumes and photos from the Middle School Dance on Halloween right after school.  A scary fun day!

Moose on the Loose

November 05, 2018

A bull moose wandered onto campus after school on Oct. 30, disrupting cross country practice but making for a remarkable display among the fall leaves.  See a Photo Gallery of Bullwinkle enjoying the grass and leaves near Graduation Lawn!
