AN IB WORLD SCHOOL

Saint George's parents, faculty and friends gathered in a tent at the nearby Kalispel Golf Club for the big Spring Fundraiser on May 5.  See a Photo Gallery of the event on a beautiful Saturday evening.  We raised approximately $190,000 that evening!  With several additional pledges, it could top $200K.  These funds will help us install a new Lower School playground structure and enhancements, replace the aging water line, and put up a new baseball outfield screen this summer.  Thank you for your support for our beautiful campus!

Lower School families viewed student artwork and heard student musicians during Grandparents' Day on May 11.  See a Photo Gallery of some of the activities that day.  (See More Photos of family members enjoying the Writers' Celebration that same morning.)

The 8th graders planted native grasses and shrubs in the storm garden in front of the Middle School on May 3, 2018.  See a Photo Gallery as their project gets closer to completion...

Saint George’s School raised a total of $1,471.02 to help children at the Spokane Guilds’ School this spring. The Penny Drive provides crucial funding that helps the Spokane Guilds' School & Neuromuscular Center provide life-changing services to children with developmental disabilities and delays.  The 5th grade, 6th grade, and Falcons brought in the most in each division, along with funds from the All-School Talent Show.  See the full totals by grade and Upper School "House"...

The Parent Association Spring Fundraiser is simple and fun this year!  You come for two hours from 5:30 - 7:30pm on Saturday, May 5 to the Kalispel Golf & Country Club's 1898 Public House just up Waikiki Road from the school.  We give you two drinks (plus fine appetizers and good conversation).  You help us Fund the Future... to keep Saint George's physical plant in good condition for the next generation.  (We'll tell you all about it while you enjoy time with friends.)  Please RSVP by 5pm on Tuesday, May 1 to our Evite Invitation.

Don't miss your chance to bid on our annual silent auction items as well:

Thank you to all the SGS student volunteers who showed up on a rainy Saturday to collect donations at Francis and Ash for the Spokane Guilds' School's annual Penny Drive.  Our students collected over $4,000 in bills and 600 lbs of coins during their two three-hour shifts on April 28!  See a Photo Gallery of the student volunteers, including most of the baseball team.  The Community Service Club's Katie Thew and Alex Watkins organized a record number of SGS students for this event.  Go Dragons!
