The Spokane Guild's School thanks Saint George's for their generous gifts through the Mrs. Santa drive in December.  A total of 283 local children in 124 families received Christmas gifts this holiday thanks to you!

This Friday, Jan. 26 is an In-Service Day for Lower School teachers.  There are no classes for grades K-5 that day.  Grades 6-12 have classes that day...

The 2017 TEDxSpokane speaker videos are now available to view.  Each one features a different aspect of the future, so you can watch Ammi Midstokke get personal with nature, Erika Prins Simonds talk about civil conversations in an un-civil world, and Natasha Miserendino on the power of words to build a positive future.  Saint George's founded and continues to sponsor this annual opportunity to hear talks on "ideas worth spreading."  See these and more speaker videos on the TEDxSpokane Website.

"Grease" is the word, and the theme, for the Holy Grail competition on February 2nd.  Students are encouraged to order a Spirit Game T-Shirt -- Pink Ladies for girls and T Birds for boys.  Go to www.bsnteamsports.com and use the Access code "SGSGrease1" to see the youth or adult shirt sizes.  The deadline for orders is Thursday, January 18.

The 2017 TEDxSpokane speaker videos are now available to view.  They start with Matthew Mitchell's talk on "How to Think About the Future" -- something human beings have a hard time doing well.  Then there are a host of fascinating looks at different aspects of the future, from Rhonda Young talking about how self-driving cars will alter our cities to Monte Lamazzi flying drones through the Bing Theater!  Saint George's founded and continues to sponsor this annual opportunity to hear talks on "ideas worth spreading."  See these and more speaker videos on the TEDxSpokane Website...

The Upper and Middle Schools celebrated the end of the semester with a festive spaghetti feast that also welcomed parents, bus drivers and recent graduates.  See a Photo Gallery of the festive and tasty event...

On Wednesday, Dec. 20 at 11am after final exams, the Middle and Upper Schools will celebrate a Holiday Feast before sending everyone off to Winter Break.  All grade 6-12 families and SGS alums are invited.  To put on the feast, we need help; please send the following items with your student on Wednesday the 20th...

The last half day of school before Winter Break will be Wednesday, Dec. 20.  Early dismissal is at 12:00 pm for K-12 students and buses will roll at 12:15 pm.  No lunch in the Lower School or ASC that day, but the Middle and Upper Schools will share their Holiday Feast at 11am with SGS alumni.  See the article on What to Bring for each grade's food or drink assignments...
