Mrs. Santa's Toy Drive helps local families with children being served by the Spokane Guilds' School who can't afford to buy Christmas gifts.  Please bring in new toys and games (see Toy List on website) to the Upper School no later than Tuesday, Dec. 12.  Thanks for caring!

Thank you to the 66 parents, staff and friends of Saint George's who donated to the school on #Giving Tuesday, Nov. 28th.  You not only helped the school earn a $1000 challenge gift from Joe and Tina Kennedy, but also raised over $16,000 to support our students and teachers during the 2017-18 school year.  Thanks for Powering the Dragon!

The Kindergarten class has learned all about the Pilgrims who came to America on the Mayflower, including the games their children played.  Then on Monday, Nov. 20, they helped prepare a Thanksgiving Feast and invited their "Indian Buddies" who had attended Kindergarten at Saint George's 12 years ago!  See photo galleries of their Pilgrim Games and the annual Thanksgiving Feast...

To celebrate Veterans' Day, the Nov. 16 Lower School Assembly featured a reading of the book "The White Table" by librarian Dianne Douthitt and a rousing, flag-waving performance of John Phillip Sousa's "Stars and Stripes Forever".  See a Video of the Patriotic March by the entire Lower School...

Saint George's Fall Blood Drive on Oct. 30 collected 16 units of blood from 18 donors.  Thank you so much for each donor and for the student volunteers who publicized and facilitated the event.  They have helped save lives...

Food Drive Collects 5,734 lbs!

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Scare Away Hunger food drive.  This year we collected 5,734 lbs -- more than 1,000 pounds above last year's total for the local 2nd Harvest Food Bank. See the totals for each grade, including one class that brought in nearly 100 lbs per person...
