October 05, 2020

Saturday, October 10th is The Lands Council's annual Reforest Spokane Day!  Melanie Mildrew, SGS Director of Community Service Programs, says they have an ambitious goal to plant 3,000 trees in one day and need volunteers to make it happen.  The project is at Marshall Creek and spans acres of beautiful farmland located between Cheney and Spokane that is undergoing a massive wetland restoration project.  There is plenty of room to spread out and maintain distance, while enjoying the scenery and taking part in a transformative project.  Get more information and sign up for a Volunteer Shift Here
