Boys Take 3rd, Girls 4th at State Cross Country Championships

Saint George's boys and girls cross country teams both finished on the podium after 2B/1B State Championship races across Sun Willows Golf Course in Pasco.  Hunter Johnson led a pack of 5 runners (Hunter, Alex Watkins, Kai Jacobs, Max Richardson, Nick Watkins) who finished within 22 seconds of each other.  Our top 5 beat that of any other school, but we lost on the point differential.  The boys cross country team finished a great season as District and Regional Champions and with a 3rd place trophy from State.  

In the girls' race, Jora Gleason finished in 5th place overall to lead our team (Jora, Mary Neder, Audrey Harrill, Kahlysta McKethen, Erika Piotrowski, Nicole Cook) to a 4th place trophy at State.
