Food Drive Collects 5,734 lbs!

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated in this year’s Scare Away Hunger food drive.  This year we collected 5,734 lbs -- more than 1,000 pounds above last year's total for the local 2nd Harvest Food Bank, making it Saint George’s third highest donation in the last decade.  Leading the Upper School, the "Eagles" House collected 9.44 lbs per person.  The Middle School’s 6th grade collected 17.45 lbs per person.  But the highest collection rate was by the Lower School's 5th grade, who collected a whopping 97.1 lbs per person!  See the Food Drive Totals for each grade or Upper School house.  Way to go Dragons!
