Math Is Cool Teams Top 10 at State

Saint George's Math Is Cool teams both finished in the top 10 against the best (and largest) high schools in the state.  At the State Masters Championships in Moses Lake on Nov. 18, the 9th-10th grade team of Henry Xu, Sarah Wu, Kevin Zhong and Celia Zhao finished 9th in the most difficult "division i".  The 11th-12th grade team of Ethan Hunter, David Zhu, Yao You and Daniel Cao was 8th overall in the same top "division i". 

Individual kudos go to Ethan Hunter who was tied for 26th in the Calculus division, to Sarah Wu who was 10th overall in the Algebra 2 division, and to Henry Xu who was 2nd in State in the Geometry division.  Go Dragons!
