Girls Soccer 2nd in State, Shutout in Title Game

After defeating Brewster on Nov. 17 in a 5-3 shootout to reach the State 2B Championship game, the SGS girls' soccer team fell short of a repeat title in a 1-0 loss to Life Christian on Nov. 18 in Sumner.  Goalie Cate Caporicci made six saves, but the Dragons were outshot by Life Christian 17-10 and could not score after giving up a goal in the 21st minute. 

The Dragons (11-5 overall) returned to the championship game for the second time in their four-year history.  See the Full Results of the title game on the WIAA.com website.  Congratulations on an outstanding season!
