DeForest Races at Jr. National Cross Country Ski Championships

SGS 10th grader John DeForest has completed a week of racing at the Junior National Cross Country Ski Championship Meet in Anchorage.  While he did not medal, the Pacific Northwest team won the Small-Team Alaska Cup award for most points accumulated by a team of 36 people or fewer. The Pacific Northwest Nordic Association, one of ten teams from all over the country, sent 36 skiers to the competition.  John was one of four skiers from the Spokane Nordic team who competed.  Good work, John!
