AN IB WORLD SCHOOL

WAYS TO GIVE:

POWER THE DRAGON

You can directly impact Saint George's students by participating in the school's yearly fundraising campaign, the Annual Fund. The Annual Fund is an enduring tradition that supports the mission of Saint George's.

High participation levels help us in seeking grants, while also serving as a representation that our community believes in the Saint George's mission. We encourage you to participate at any level that is comfortable.

FUTURE GIFTS

Future gifts, also known as "planned gifts", take the longer view. There are many facets to future or planned gift giving.  Future gifts can range from simple bequests, to a lifetime stream of income, to life insurance policies, to creative arrangements with unused retirement-plan benefits. Some choose to make either an outright gift or a deferred gift of assets such as stocks, bonds, and property.

ENDOWMENTS

Endowment gifts are larger and generally given over a period of years. Often called capital gifts, they are essential to maintain the quality of education at Saint George’s and make the school more sustainable into the future. SGS is proud to have a robust endowment with its earnings supporting faculty enrichment, operations, and tuition assistance and minimizing the inevitable tuition increases needed to cover costs.

GIFTS OF SECURITIES AND PROPERTY

Some donors prefer to make a gift of securities (stocks and bonds) or property.  Donors can discuss tax implications and charitable deductions with their tax advisor.  Please contact Head of School Jamie Tender at (509) 464-8764 or via email at jamie.tender@sgs.org for information about stock or property gifts.
