Christiansen Takes First 18-Hole League Match

Maddy Christiansen of Saint George’s thumped the field at the first 18-hole league golf match at Chewelah Golf and Country Club on April 16.  Maddy's round of 80 was 25 shots ahead of the 2nd place girl.  On the boys side, Michael McCarthy shot 81 for 4th place at four shots back of the leader.  A total of 44 boys and 20 girls competed from Wilbur-Creston, Lind Ritzville Sprague, Cusick, Northwest Christian, Upper Columbia Academy, Chewelah, Tekoa Rosalia, Saint George’s, Colfax, Davenport, Kettle Falls, and Harrington.
