Rigsby Wins Gold in 400 Meter Race

SGS junior Dan Rigsby won the 2B State Championship 400 meter race in 51.08 seconds.  He also anchored the Dragons' 4x400 meter relay team with Chaitanya Naluri, Oscar Angell and Marcus Manson that placed 3rd overall (3:29.47) at the State meet held at EWU's track on May 25.  In individual races, Manson was 4th in the 100 meter race and Angell was 6th in the 300 meter hurdles, helping the boys team earn a tie with Colfax for 12th overall in State.  See a Photo Gallery of the boys races by Frank Harrill.
