Musicians Perform at Spokane Musicfest Competition

Several SGS students performed at Spokane Musicfest in mid-May. Sarah Wu participated in four piano competitions and received two gold medals (Romantic and Piano Duo) and two silver (Beethoven, Impressionistic).  Her brother Ethan Wu took part in two piano competitions, earning one gold (Contemporary) and one silver medal (Romantic).  Congratulations as well to John Nowland, who received a silver medal and certificate of merit for participating in the Grade 8 vocal solo section.  If other SGS musicians participated in Musicfest, reply to this email and let john.carter@sgs.org know.
