New "Writing Center" Opens Oct. 1

Beginning Tuesday, October 1, a new Writing Center will be staffed by students to serve as “readers” to assist Upper School students with their writing.  Students may get referred by a teacher with a specific area to address or students can sign up for a time on their own.  The Writing Center will be housed in Upper School room 219.  The initial schedule is as follows, but may be adjusted as we determine the most opportune times for students to utilize this resource. 

• Before school (7:30-8:10), Monday, Wednesday, Friday

• Lunch every day

• After school (3:15-4:00), Monday, Wednesday, Thursday

• A and B block – Monday

• C and D block – Wednesday

• E and F block – Tuesday

• G block – Thursday

• H block – Monday and Thursday
