PSAT Testing Day on Wednesday, Oct. 16

The morning of Wednesday, Oct. 16 is PSAT testing time for grades 8-11.  Students should bring an appropriate calculator and get a good night's sleep beforehand.  The purpose of the “Preliminary SAT” is to practice the standardized test-taking skills needed to do well on the SAT and the ACT.  PSAT scores also are used to identify National Merit Scholars and award merit scholarships.  The Senior Class, instead of taking the PSAT, will have an "Introduction to Adulting" with Josh Hayes and Melanie Mildrew.  That should also be good preparation for college!
