Volleyball Team Finishes Challenging Season

The SGS varsity volleyball team's season ended this past week short of the postseason after a 3-12 record.  As coach Chenise Peone says, "I had high expectations for our team and set very high team goals.  Unfortunately, we dealt with injuries early on in the season that players had to battle through, some injuries being season ending."  She is proud of the team for sticking together and staying positive through their challenges.  "The only games you regret are the ones you didn’t give it your all.  That is the lesson this team will carry on into the future!"  See a Photo Gallery of the varsity team in action from earlier this fall.
