He Wins at Solo & Ensemble

SGS singers and musicians performed well at the Spokane EWMEA Solo and Ensemble competition at Shadle Park HS on Saturday, Feb. 1. Caroline He won the Alto division and will be competing at the state level in April. Ferris was the big winner of the day, but SGS scored ahead of the rest of the bigger GSL schools -- Mead, Mt Spokane, Rogers, North Central, Lewis and Clark, Shadle, and Gonzaga Prep. Other honorees included:
Alex Anderson - 1st alternate bass to state
Reagan Ivey - mezzo soprano - 2nd alternate to state
Reagan & Caroline duet -1st alternate to state
Chamber choir – (Reagan Ivey, Caroline He, Alec Nittolo, Alex Anderson) -1st alternate to state
John Nowland -1st alternate tenor to state
SGS Symphonic choir -1st alternate to state
