School Calendar for 2020-21 Now Available

Dear Parents:
As we greet each day of February with the optimism of knowing warm and sunny days are drawing near, the administrative team has been planning and creating the calendar for the 2020-2021 school year.  This may seem like a straightforward task and almost “plug & play” from the previous year, but unfortunately it does not work quite so simply.

Our annual calendar is influenced primarily by what works best for SGS and our students’ learning.  We consider key SGS dates (conferences, in-service, etc.), major holidays, OSPI requirements, Washington Interscholastic Activities Association dates, and IB testing dates.  Each year, these dates may change slightly from the previous year or start sooner or later based on situations beyond our control.
