Soccer Players Named to Elite Team

Three students from SGS recently made the girls' Eastern Washington Elite Player Development soccer travel team and will be playing in a western states regional tournament over Memorial Day weekend in Portland, Oregon.  All three -- 6th graders Peyton Dixon and Margreit Galow and 5th grader Katherine Gunn -- currently play on the same team for the Spokane Sounders.  The Elite Player Development program is designed as the training ground for Washington’s most elite youth soccer players.  Read more about the EPD Program at Washington Youth Soccer.org.
