Dragon Teams Advance to State 2B Tournament

Saint George's girls' varsity team defeated Orcas Island 67-27 on Feb. 29 to leap into the State 2B Tournament's first round.  Cambrie Rickard, Lydia Bergquist, Annika Bergquist, and Margreit Galow all scored in double digits.  See a Photo Gallery of their game provided by SGS alum and former parent Bob Jones.  They will play Tri-Cities Prep at 2pm on Wednesday, March 4 in the Spokane Arena in a loser-out game.  A win will have them play again at 2pm on Thursday, March 5.  See the full Girls' State 2B Brackets.

The boys' varsity team defeated Onalaska 43-37 on Feb. 29, with senior guard Dan Rigsby passing the career 1,000-point mark on their way to a State 2B berth.  See a Photo Gallery of their game provided by Bob Jones.  They will play either Colfax or White Swan at 9pm on Thursday, March 5 in a quarterfinal match up in the Spokane Arena.  See the full Boys' State 2B Brackets, and cheer on your Dragons at State!
