Dragons Compete at State Chess Championships

Four Saint George's chess players participated in the Washington State Elementary Chess Championship in Tacoma on Saturday, April 29.  Adrian Rooney and Rohan Dhillon both scored 3.0 point of 5.0 possible, earning trophies that marked that achievement.  Per Sande scored 2.0 and Colton Thomas scored 1.5.  They were awarded participation trophies in recognition of the achievement of qualifying for the event.  Congratulations, Dragons!
