4th & 5th Grade Math is Cool Teams Score at State

Saint George's 4th and 5th grade Math is Cool teams found success at the State Masters competition in Moses Lake on May 20.  The 4th grade team of Robert DeForest, Rohan Dhillon, Elsa Goeke, and Mason Zarlingo finished 3rd overall.  Rohan took 1st place in the individual category.  See Photos from the 4th grade at State.  

The 5th grade team of Kara Chiang, Steel Lindauer, Sam Morris, and Isabelle Parekh finished 1st overall in their competition.  Kara also took 1st place in the individual category.  Both teams played in the second most competitive "phi" division against much larger schools.  See Photos from the 5th grade at State.
