SGS Golfers Qualify for Regionals

May 3rd was an interesting day at the District competition at Deer Park Golf Club.  The boys' golf team finished 4th and the girls' team finished 3rd.  Patrick McCarthy was 3rd overall, shooting a 2 over 74. The boys team qualified for Regionals, so Patrick, Luke Whitman, Nick Henning, Nate Henning, and Kade Kaiser will represent SGS at regionals at the Kalispel Golf Club on May 13th!  Carol Wolff qualified for regionals on the number and Kaylee Clark missed by only 2 shots.  "I am excited that the boys’ team made it, Carol Wolff gets one more round, and I am pumped for Kaylee’s future in the sport," said coach Brad Kirsch.  See a Photo Gallery of the golfers at Deer Park.  The winds and clouds made it a chilly day on the course, but it was still a great place for an afternoon competition.
