Girls Track & Field Ties for 1st at Districts

The Dragon women finished 1st overall, tying with Asotin for the District 7 track & field title.  Senior Reagan Ivey ran 1:00.13 to win the 400 meters.  Fair Niven and Reagan finished 1st and 2nd in the 100 meter race, and Margreit Galow joined them in the top five of the 200 meter race.  Maggie McLaughlin and Georgia Steele were 1st and 2nd in the 800 meters and finished 4th and 5th in the 1600 race.  Senior Cambrie Rickard ran strong legs on the State-leading 4x100 relay (1st place with Reagan, Margreit & Fair) and the 4x200 relay (2nd with Georgia, Beth Swartzwelder & Maggie).  And Georgia, Margreit, Fair & Maggie captured the 4x400 title.  Margreit also threw the javelin 89'9" for a personal best and 2nd in district.  Congratulations, Dragons!  See all the results from Districts at https://www.athletic.net/TrackAndField/meet/428591/results.
