Volunteers Help at JOYA Penny Drive

Saint George's Upper School students collected money at a North Spokane intersection for JOYA's Penny Drive on Saturday, May 22.  They gathered a whopping $5,916 from motorists, including over 300 lbs. of coins!  The funds will be added to over $1000 raised at the SGS campus penny drive to provide services for local preschool children with learning or physical disabilities.  Overall, JOYA raised over $46,000 that day from motorists and another $11,000 from a telethon.  See a Photo Gallery of Dragons collecting funds to help local kids in need!
