Two Seniors Earn National Merit Honors

Saint George's seniors Connor Cremers and Adit Arora have been named National Merit Commended Scholars, based on their Preliminary SAT scores from last year.  In addition, Connor has been named a Semifinalist in the National Merit Scholarship program.  He is one of just 16,000 Semifinalists nationwide out of 1.6 million students who took the PSAT as juniors.  If he advances to Finalist status, then he could receive one of thousands of scholarships offered by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation, by 230 corporate and business organizations, or by nearly 200 colleges and universities.  Here is the NMS Announcement with details on the selection process.
