FTC Robotics Team Advances to State

December 18, 2017

FTC Robotics team 6128 (Dragons 1.0) & 7935 (Dragons 2.0) fought tough battles on Saturday at their Interleague competition in Richland.  Playing against 16 other teams from around the region, both bots fought valiantly for top rank.  After a long day of 23 total matches, 7935 ended ranked 9th and 6128 ended ranked 4th, putting them in the semifinals.

The number one ranked team (Nerdy Girls from Ellensburg) chose 6128 for an alliance to play in the finals.  Only two wins would secure moving on, but with one win and one loss, it came down to the last match.  Despite intense pressure, 6128 completely filled their crypto box for the first time in competition, securing a win of 318 to 68!  Team 6128 will be advancing to State in Kent on February 11, 2018!  See a Photo Gallery of both teams at the competition, and watch a video of the exciting Final Match.

Great job to both teams for an outstanding season!
