Enter the ML King Jr. Essay Contest

January 08, 2018

Saint George's has Monday, January 15 off to celebrate the life of Martin Luther King, Jr.  As part of this holiday, SGS runs an essay contest for all members of the community.  Your children (or you!) could win $50 if your essay is chosen to be read at the assembly on Tuesday, January 16.  The prompt is, “What does Martin Luther King, Jr. mean to me?”  Typed essays need to be sent to Russell Werkman by email or placed in his faculty mailbox by Wednesday, January 10.  A panel including last year’s winners and the MS and US Division Heads will judge the entrants.  Winners will be notified on Friday, January 12.
