Dragon Teams Advance in District Playoffs

Saint George's boys and girls basketball teams advanced to the District semi-finals with wins on Thursday, Feb. 8.  The #2 seeded SGS girls beat Lind-Ritzville-Sprague 52-16 with 12-point games from Ceci Bergquist and Cambrie Rickard.  See a Photo Gallery of the girls' win.  They will play #1 seed Colfax at 5:00pm on Tuesday, Feb. 13 in the West Valley HS Main Gym (see updated Girls Bracket). 

The #1 seeded boys defeated Asotin 88-49 behind Mitchell Ward's 17 points and 15 more from Ben Adams.  See a Photo Gallery of the boys' win.  They will play #2 seed Colfax right after the girls' game at 6:30pm on Tuesday, Feb. 13 in the West Valley Main Gym (see updated Boys Bracket). 

Wins will put both teams into the District Championship Games on Saturday, Feb. 17.  A loss and they will play on Thursday, Feb. 15.  Go Dragons!
