Ivey Top Soloist at Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival

SGS 9th grader Reagan Ivey was named the #1 high school soloist at the University of Idaho's prestigious Lionel Hampton Jazz Festival on Friday, Feb. 23.  Reagan performed "The Frim-Fram Sauce" in the concert for award winners that evening; see a YouTube Video or Facebook Video of her song. 

Director David Demand says, "Reagan is our first 9th grader to earn top soloist honors at the Lionel Hampton that I can remember."  Congratulations to all of the SGS singers -- the Upper School Choir, US Chamber Choir, Middle School Choir, and soloists Susie Jones, Hailey Poutiatine, and Caroline He -- who performed so well at the festival.
