SAT Prep Class Starts April 11

April 02, 2018

Increase your SAT test scores!  SGS history and economics teacher Josh Hayes will teach an SAT Prep class from April 11-May 30 on Wednesday evenings from 6-9pm.  Learn proven test-taking strategies with an experienced SAT instructor. This class is targeted at 11th graders (to help them take the June 2nd SAT 1) or 9th and 10th grade (to boost their PSAT scores this fall).  Contact Josh Hayes for questions or late registration requests.

The course includes 24 hours of instruction and 2 full-length timed practice tests as well as review of math skills, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and essay writing.  Students will be preparing for the June 2nd test date. Current SGS juniors who didn’t take this class averaged a 50 point increase in their PSAT scores between their sophomore and junior years (that’s good).  Current SGS students who took the class averaged over a 110 point increase (that’s better).  Financial aid may be available; contact Jamie Tender for details.
