Walkout Against Gun Violence in Schools

More than 100 students - over half the Upper School - walked outside Saint George's School on Wednesday, March 14 and stood silent in the cold rain for 17 minutes to honor the victims of the Parkland, Florida high school shooting one month ago.  Photos of the victims were displayed, and 11th grader Kyrie Woodard, who organized the student walkout, called for an end to gun violence in schools.  "We deserve to come to school and feel safe," she said.  See a Photo Gallery of the solemn assembly.
