MS Pi Day Champions

Nearly half of the Middle School competed in the annual Pi Day contest to recite the most digits of Pi on March 14th (3.14).  The top scores by grade were 6th grader Henri Osborne with 54 digits, 7th grader Yasmine Tehrani with 20 digits, and 8th grader Tariq Ravasia with 74 digits.  "The overall champion of Pi Day was 8th grader Stella Brown, who recited 76 digits of Pi," says math teacher Shane Kangas.  After the competition, everyone enjoyed a well-earned slice of real pie!
