Wu Performs at Musicfest Highlights Concert

10th grader Sarah Wu earned two gold medals (Contemporary and Duet) and two silver medals (Beethoven Sanata and Romantic) in the Musicfest Northwest piano competitions.  She even received the Contemporary category's Adjudicator's Choice Award, which is only given to one high school participant per category (Baroque, Classical, Romantic, and Contemporary) and includes a $250 prize.

Sarah was featured on KPBX Spokane Public Radio on Friday morning, May 18, playing her duet piece Fantasie in F minor D. 940 by Franz Schubert.  Then watch a Video of Sarah Performing her winning Contemporary piece (Five Etudes de Jazz I.Charleston II.Blues V.Toccata sur le Shimm by Erwin Schulhoff) at the Festival Highlights Concert that Friday evening at the Fox Theater with the other winners in piano, violin, voice, ballet, etc.  Congratulations, Sarah!
