Girls Soccer Advances to State Semifinals in Sumner

The Dragons defeated Northwest Christian 5-1 in the State Quarterfinals on Saturday, Nov. 10 at SGS.  Saint George's girls earned a spot in the State Semifinals at 2pm on Friday, Nov. 16 at Sunset Chev Stadium in Sumner, WA, where they will face undefeated Liberty Bell HS of Winthrop.  The winner of that game advances to the State Championship Game on Saturday, Nov. 17 at 2pm.  The loser in Friday's game will play at 10am on Nov. 17 in Sumner for 3rd place in State.  See the WIAA Girls Soccer State Bracket for details.  Plus read the Nov. 8 Spokesman-Review Article about seniors Abby Jones & Maddy Christiansen in the State Playoffs for the fourth year!  Go Dragons!
