SGS Robotics Team Wins PNW Regional Competition

Saint George's FIRST Robotics Team #1595 captured its third meet title this spring with a victory at the FIRST Robotics Pacific NW District Championships in Cheney, WA on April 8.  Their 3-team alliance won 471-452 in the final round of the "Steampunk" themed competition.  See a Photo Gallery of the team in action and showing off their awards!  SGS is one of just a handful of teams worldwide to earn three meet titles this season.  They also earned the Industrial Safety Award for their robot pit operations.  Team 1595 is ranked 4th overall in the PNW District and is headed to the World Championships in Houston later this month!
